Russia using explosive drones against Syrian rebels

The Russian military forces in Syria have started using explosive drones with ranges of over 100 kilometers against rebel groups, reports said. During the past few days the drones have been launched from the Hamimim airbase in Latakia at targets of the Ahrar al-Sham group. Syrian news agencies said Wednesday that the new weapon had made direct hits and caused significant damage to rebel positions.
