Russian team leaves Egypt after ending search for crash victims
The 48 members of a Russian search-and-rescue team left Egypt and returned to Moscow on Wednesday after participating in the location and identification of the victims of the recent crash of a Metrojet flight in the Sinai Peninsula. The plane crashed on October 31 soon after takeoff as a result of a terrorist attack in a desert area about 70 kilometers north of El Arish. All 224 passengers and crew aboard the airliner perished.
