Stabbing attack by Palestinian woman foiled at Kalandia checkpoint

Israeli border policemen prevented a stabbing attack on Thursday evening at the Kalandia checkpoint north of Jerusalem when they detained a young Palestinian woman who raised their suspicion. The woman, who threw away a knife that she was carrying and later admitted that she intended to carry out a terrorist attack, was arrested and taken in for questioning. Nobody was injured in the incident.
