Suspected suicide bomber wearing heavy coat arrested in Brussels

A man wearing a long coat with electrical wires coming out of it sparked a terror alert across the Belgian capital on Wednesday with the police announcing that it had launched a manhunt for a terrorist carrying explosives. The suspect was later arrested on Place de la Monnaie across from a bustling commercial center. He wore the heavy winter coat despite the sweltering summer heat so it was assumed that he was trying to conceal an explosive device.
The incident came one day before the country's July 21 national holiday in honor of the crowning of the first Belgian king in the 19th century.
