Syria downs two rebel drones heading to attack Russian air base

Syrian military sources report that their air defense weapons last week intercepted two Syrian rebel drones about to strike Russia’s Hmeimim Air Base. The sources said the UAVs belonged to the Al Qaeda-linked Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, were powered by diesel engines and packed with mortar shells. This was the first instance of a rebel drone attack on Russian forces in Syria. The same group was responsible for the shelling on Dec. 31 that destroyed 7 Russian warplanes.

There is a difference between damage and destruction, and that difference equals to propaganda.
