Taliban ambush Afghan police convoy; more than 40 dead

The Taliban attacked a convoy of buses carrying Afghan police cadets in a suburb of Kabul on Thursday afternoon. They first detonated several bombs and then opened fire with automatic weapons on anyone who tried to flee the scene. More than 40 policemen were killed.
