Tehran: Syrian government will cooperate with UN chemicals experts

Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is quoted by Press TV Sunday as saying: "We are in close contact with the Syrian government and they have reassured us that they had never used such inhumane weapons and would have the fullest cooperation with the UN experts to visit the areas affected," Press TV reported that Zarif conveyed this assurance in a telephone conversation with Italian Foreign Minister Emma Bonino.  Tehran published this assurance amid mounting indications of an imminent Western-Mid East military strike against the Assad regime following the deadly poison gas attack last Wednesday.
