Tel Aviv gunman may be cornered in Triangle town
Heavy police, border guard and military forces were closing in on a location in one of the Arab Israeli Triangle towns early Wednesday, apparently in response to reports that the Tel Aviv gunman Nashat Melhem was holed up there. A court gag order bars publication of the exact location. Tuesday, the police chief advised people in Tel Aviv that they could stop worrying and indicated that the focus of the manhunt for the terrorist responsible for three murders on Jan. 1 and moved north outside their city.
