Temple Mt. cleared, Old City under curfew after Temple Mt. attack

Police reinforcements poured into Jerusalem’s Old City Friday after three Palestinian gunmen shot and injured  three Israeli police guards, two critically, at the main entrance to Temple Mount. They were shot dead in the firefight that ensued on Temple Mount near the Dome of the Rock. The plaza where tens of thousands of Muslims worship Friday was cleared, the Old City gates were closed and the walled city placed under curfew. An Investigation is underway to discover how the Palestinian terrorists were able to smuggle guns into the shrine.
