Thirteen-year-old Israeli girl stabbed to death by terrorist in Kiryat Arba

A terrorist entered a home in Kiryat Arba at about 9:00 on Thursday morning and stabbed a 13-year-old Israeli girl, Hallel Yaffa, to death. Another man, who shot and killed the terrorist, sustained serious injuries, apparently from friendly fire. The terrorist was later identified as a 17-year-old from Bnei Naim near Hebron. The Kiryat Arba Council initially called on residents to stay in their homes until further notice, but later announced that they could resume their regular routines.
