Threats along with funerals of Hizballah officers killed by Israeli strike
Hizballah Monday accompanied the funerals of its high officers, who died in Israel’s helicopter-borne missile strike on the Syrian side of the Golan near Quneitra Sunday, with an outburst of threats in the pro-Hizballah Lebanese media. As the funerals got underway, its sources declared: “The blood spilled on the Golan has not deterred us from pursuing action in the Golan. Just the opposite,” said one publication. Another stressed that the two fronts against northern Israel are now equal and interlinked. In fact a single front links the western point of the south Lebanese-Israeli border to the eastern point on the Syrian Golan.” Hizballah sources said: “Israel has no way of stopping us reaching Galilee. Our response to the Israeli attack will take place very soon.”
There is high military preparedness on both sides of the border.
