US denies reports that American airstrike killed Hizballah commander

The White House issued a statement on Friday in response to reports in the Middle East claiming that Mustafa Bader Al-din, the commander of Hizballah's forces in Syria, was killed in an airstrike by US forces. "I can confirm that there were no US or coalition aircraft in the area where he was reported to be killed," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.
