US says it will ramp up attacks on ISIS targets in Syria, Iraq
American Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said Wednesday, following a meeting with his counterparts from 11 members of the coalition against Islamic State, that the countries had decided to immediately and significantly increase the scope of their operations against the terrorist organization, both on the ground and especially in the air. Carter made the remarks in Germany after a series of meetings with the defense ministers of France, Germany, Britain and Italy.
