Yoram Halevy takes over as Jerusalem police chief

One of the most highly-rated commanders of the Israel Police, Deputy Commissioner Yoram Halevy, took charge of the police's Jerusalem District on Monday, replacing Deputy Commissioner Moshe (Chico) Edri who assumed command of the Tel Aviv District. Halevy took charge as the Palestinian wave of terror in Jerusalem is now in its fifth month and getting worse.
