IDF and Police probe clash between Palestinians and Israelis near Ramallah

There are conflicting versions of how a clash on Saturday began and ended in the death of a Palestinian in a village northeast of Ramallah. At least five other Palestinians and one Israel were wounded. The Palestinians claim that settlers arrived at an olive grove outside their village from the nearby outpost of Adel Ad and attacked the villagers. The settlers claimed that a Palestinian mob had set upon a group of hikers stabbing one in the hand. They started shooting in the air when they felt their lives were threatened. Israel troops arrived to separate the two sides and extricate the settlers..  They too were attacked by the villagers.

“They started shooting in the air when they felt their lives were threatened”
If live is threatened, shoot the threat not the air.
