An Iranian soldier kills three in shooting at air base

Three servicemen were killed, including an officer, when an Iranian soldier suddenly started shooting at the Kahrizak air base south of Tehran Sunday. Another 12 were injured. No information has been released about the circumstance of the attack or the soldier’s motive, however there were similar attacks by soldiers against their comrades in other parts of Iran in July and September.
