Churkin: The US invested $5 bn in regime change in Ukraine

Russia’s UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin said the US is to blame for the events in Ukraine as it invested $5 billion in regime change in the country and therefore “pushed through the most radical scenario.” He was commenting on the statement by US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland who told CNN Monday that the US had invested around $5 bn in supporting democracy in Ukraine since the fall of the Soviet Union.
