Citizens catch Palestinian who sought to carry out attack in Herzliya
Ahmad Hatib, a 20-year-old Palestinian from the Isawiya neighborhood of Jerusalem who told his family on Tuesday that he was going to carry out an attack in Herzliya, was identified and subdued by citizens in Herzliya who recognized him from a picture released by the media. The citizens then held Hatib until the police arrived to arrest him. Hatib had also burst through a police roadblock in Jerusalem while driving to the resort city north of Tel Aviv.
