Court starts issuing verdict in trial of IDF soldier who killed subdued terrorist
A court at IDF headquarters on Wednesday morning started issuing its verdict on the case of Sgt. Elor Azaria, charged with manslaughter over the fatal shooting of a subdued terrorist in Hebron. The court's chief judge, Col. Maya Heller, said that the shot by the accused to the head of the injured terrorist was the cause of death. She rejected all the defense claims regarding the cause of death and said Azaria was aware of his action.
