Dore Gold named prime minister’s adviser

Former Israeli ambassador to the UN Dr. Dore Gold takes up the position of political adviser to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Jan. 1. He steps into the shoes of Ron Dermer, recently appointed ambassador to the United States. His main field of activity will be Israel-US relations.
