Israeli ministers agree to free 26 Palestinian terrorists

The ministerial committee Saturday night approved the release of 26 convicted Palestinian prisoners, cutting short the life sentences they were serving for terrorism and murder, as the families of their victims protested outside. The release, a condition for Palestinian participation in peace talks, will take place within 48 hours after the list is posted.
