Six Palestinian rockets launched from Gaza, reprisal for Israel’s Nablus raid

In line with threats from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, six rockets were aimed at Israel overnight Wednesday, causing no harm or damage. Three targeted Sderot and two Ashkelon before they were all shot down and a sixth landed on empty ground. The air force next struck Hamas weapons production sites and a military facility. An anti-air rocket targeting an IAF jet blew up in the air.

Nine Palestinians, including three wanted terrorists, were killed in a shootout during Israeli arrest operation in Nablus on Wednesday.

Thursday morning, a Palestinian woman of 20 tried to stab a guard at the entrance to Maaleh Adummim. She was shot by an armed bystander before causing harm. The woman from Abu Dis outside Jerusalem was taken to hospital with medium injuries.
