Hizballah has large amounts of US weaponry, senior IDF officer says

A senior IDF officer said Wednesday during a briefing for foreign journalists in Tel Aviv that Israel has informed the US that Hizballah is using American weaponry in Syria and Lebanon. The officer showed pictures of US-made M113 armored personnel carriers and other armored vehicles that have fallen into the hands of the terrorist organization. On Tuesday, DEBKAfile reported on the continuing US military aid to Lebanon and on the serious concern among Israeli security and intelligence services regarding the process.
On Monday, during a ceremony at a military airport near Beirut marking the delivery of a US-made Cessna 208B plane to the Lebanese air force, US ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard said the aircraft "will be equipped with Hellfire missiles and a day-time/night-time targeting system". The plane is the third of its kind to be delivered by the US to Lebanon.
