IDF air strike kills senior Islamic Jihad commander

In a joint operation with the Shin Bet on Monday, an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza killed Hasam Abu Harbid, while rockets continued to batter southern Israel. Harbid officiated as Islamic Jihad’s northern Gaza sector division from 2019 when he predecessor Baha Abu al-Atta was killed in an IDF targeted assassination.
