Iran unveils new cruise missile with 1,300 km range
Iran’s defense minister Amir Hatami Saturday unveiled a new surface-to-surface cruise missile named Hoveizeh with a range of 1,300 km. He said it needed a very short time to prepare for takeoff and can fly at low altitudes. DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the new weapon., belonging to the Soumar family of cruise missiles, is capable of reaching any point in Israel.
