Iranian missiles target secret Israeli base in Iraq

At least 12 missiles were aimed from Iran early Sunday at Irbil, capital of the Kurdish region of N. Iraq. Iranian sources claimed their targets were secret Israel military bases in the region. Those and Lebanese sources maintained that the attack was Tehran’s reprisal for the killing of two Revolutionary Guards officers in an Israeli attack on the Damascus region last week. This was later denied by Iranian sources.
