Suicide attacks kill at least 100 in Sweida, Syria

Three bombers with explosive belts attacked the Syrian government-held town of Sweida early Wednesday, killing at least 100 people, while more blasts hit surrounding villages. ISIS is believed to be behind the string of attacks. Syrian state TV reported that government forces were attacking Daesh (ISIS) positions in the countryside east of Sweida. This town fell to Assad’s forces in recent months along with much of southern Syria, displacing more than a quarter of a million people.

I pray for all the people who were killed. It’s horrible that civilians are being murdered by jihadist groups–they claim to speak for Muslims, but then they go out and murder them, not to mention everyone else they don’t like.

Jihadists aren’t warriors…they’re cowards. The innocent people killed today, the ones killed in attacks in Israel and Canada and France….they all deserved better.

All good people in the world must stand up against jihadists, as well as other extremist groups who murder innocent people.
