Israeli PM orders truce negotiators to quit Cairo talks

The Egyptian-mediated talks between Israel and Hamas for a permanent truce have broken down. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ordered Israel’s envoys to return home from Cairo, after the Palestinians resumed rocket fire from the Gaza Strip Tuesday, in violation of the latest 24-hour truce announced in Cairo Monday night for further negotiations.
