Mixed signals about Obama-Rouhani meeting

According to White House officials, there were no plans as of Friday for a meeting between President Barack Obama and Iran’s Hassan Rouhani, both of whom address the UN General Assembly in New York next Tuesday. Some other sources say they may meet, either for a formal engagement or a ceremonial encounter. Rouhani perseveres in his charm offensive in America with an article in the Washington Post calling for “constructive interaction with the world.”
