Netanyahu meets Greek counterpart Tsipras, praises economic reforms

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held talks in Jerusalem on Wednesday with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on a number of topics, including economic, technological, scientific, educational, trade, energy and agricultural cooperation. At the end of the meeting, Netanyahu said he admires the difficult steps Tsipras is taking for the reform of the Greek economy because he had to take similar steps in Israel. The prime minister also said Israel believes Tsipras will be successful and that the Greek economy will recover, adding that he intends to urge Israeli investors to invest in Greece.
