Palestinian shot, subdued after attempted stabbing of elite policemen

Dozens of Palestinian youths attacked a force of Israeli counterterror policemen as it was arresting a wanted man in the area of the Shuafat refugee camp on Thursday morning. One of the Palestinians pulled out a knife and approached the policemen, who shot and subdued him. No members of the Israeli force were injured. The knifeman sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital, while the captured man was taken in for questioning.
