Philippine special forces kill 10 terrorists linked to Al Qaeda
Ten terrorists from the Abu Sayaf organization, which belongs to Al Qaeda and is holding foreign hostages, were killed by US-trained Philippine commandos in a battle on Jolo Island in the southern Philippines. Eight of the commandos, including a lieutenant, were injured. The terrorist organization is holding a Japanese citizen, a Norwegian, a Dutchman and two Canadians at an unknown location, the Philippine military said Thursday.
