President Rivlin in Moscow to meet Putin, Medvedev
Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin has dates in the Kremlin Wednesday to meet President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. They will discuss the partial Russian military pullout from Syria following Putin’s abrupt order and its effect on Israel’s security, Rivlin being the first Western leader to see the Russian president since that momentous order. Before he flew to Moscow, Rivlin was fully briefed by the prime minister and defense minister. Other bilateral issues will also be discussed.
