Russia uses its most advanced Kh-101 missiles to strike ISIS targets in Syria
The Russian military said that it had destroyed an ISIS command facility and three weapons storage depots in Syria on Wednesday using its most advanced cruise missiles. The high-precision Kh-101 missiles were launched from Tupolev Tu-95 strategic bombers about 1,000 km away from the targets, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. Neither the number of planes used nor the number of missiles fired were specified. All of the targets were said to be near the town of Aqirbat in Hama province.
