Ryabkov: Russian-US relations at lowest ebb since Cold War
Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Tuesday that relations with the United States were at their lowest ebb since the Cold War, but hoped they could improve under US President Donald Trump. Moscow will analyze Trump's debut address to Congress later on Tuesday for signs of any change, he told parliament in Moscow. Russia had not asked him to lift the sanctions imposed by Barack Obama, he said, but that step would ease the improvement of dialogue between the two countries.
