Stormy protests in Gaza over wages default

Gaza’s Hamas rulers have clamped a blackout on the eruption of protests Wednesday over the government’s failure to hand out pay checks and placards running down the dire economic conditions in the enclave. The authorities have not so far acted to break up the demonstrations.
