UNESCO: Jerusalem is a city under Israeli occupation

The United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization carried a resolution Tuesday denying Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem and defining Israel’s status there as an “occupying power.” The anti-Israel measure was predicted. The measure was supported by 22 nations, opposed by 10 with 23 abstaining and three members absent.
