WP: Syria’s chemical arsenal bigger, more scattered than suspected
According to the Washington Post, the US and regional allies have hastened preparations for securing the sites with foreign troops after concluding that Syria’s arsenal contains several hundred tons of chemical weapons and precursors including battlefield-ready sarin in widely distributed sites. The most dangerous stocks are kept in bunkers in half a dozen locations.
