IDF strikes Hamas rocket launchers, amid new wave of rocket fire

A dozen rockets were aimed at Beersheba Sunday morning, 7 exploding on empty ground and 5 intercepted. They were followed by salvos against Ashdod and Ashkelon. Altogether 120 Palestinian rockets were fired against Israel from Saturday night up until noon on Sunday, including a heavy bombardment of the Tel Aviv region. The IDF dropped more than 100 bombs on Hamas targets, including the home of Gaza Strip commander Yahya Sinwar,and 4 rocket-launchers in the southern and northern ends of the enclave.
