Israeli visitors landing at Dubai are free to go after four hour holdup
More than 160 Israel passengers who flew by a FlyDubai Sunday overnight flight from Ben Gurion to Dubai were held up at the airport for four hours before they were permitted to enter the country. The delay was apparently due to a bureaucratic technicality regarding their E-visas. Two more Dubai-bound flights stood by in Tel Aviv for the all-clear before taking off. Two weeks ago, Israel and the UEA agreed to temporarily waive entry visas for their nationals until their mutual waivers were formalized following their normalization accord.
