Palestinian Islamic Jihad claims its precise rockets can reach past Nathaniah
Iran’s Alam Arabic channel Sunday aired a Palestinian Islamic Jihad film claiming to show a rocket factory in Gaza turning out precise missiles capable of reaching of Tel Aviv, Nathaniah and even further north. The PIJ claimed to show one hitting an apartment complex in Ashkelon last November and maintained that the video was “only a small part of what the enemy will see in a future confrontation.”
DEBKAfile’s military sources: In the past 48 hours, Tehran, the Jihad’s sponsor, has claimed to have established an “upgraded deterrent” against Israeli attacks on Syria and fired a cruise missile from a submarine. Iran has also threatened “a major upheaval” in response to Israel attacks in Syria and “the resistance axis.”
