President Horacio Cartes opens Paraguayan embassy in Jerusalem

Paraguay became the third country to officially relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, after the United States and Guatemala conducted ceremonial inaugurations of their embassy headquarters in the Israeli capital on May 14 and May 16. The Paraguayan president and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu cut the ribbon Monday at the new embassy quarters at the Technology Park in the Jerusalem district of Malcha.

Except acknowledging the natural courtesy of recognising a country’s sovereign right to choose its own capital city.

Even Soviet occupied East Berlin was recognised by the West.

It’s a measure of international neuralgia that something so basic should be so systematically denied to the Jewish State, and history will long recount the main villains here – the Muslim states, the Vatican and the EU.

Didn’t this country harbor some pretty bad actors after WWII? Guess they are dead by now and it’s a new game.

Are there kehilot in Paraguay? A lot of German Jews emigrated to South America while they still could so Paraguay could be one country to settle in. Ok, Panama and Dominican Republic is well known for Jews setteling down there.

Guatemala & Paraguay are something but Brazil & Mexico are something else.
Glad these two great latin countries would stick to the palestinians not to the blind rules of the evangelicals and zionists.
