The US delists Sudan as State Sponsor of Terrorism

Washington has met one of Sudan’s conditions for establishing normal relations with Israel and removed the country from its list of state sponsors of terrorism as of Dec. 14, the US embassy in Khartoum announced on Monday. Congress did not take advantage of the 45-day window allowed to contest the decision.
